PERANCANGAN INTERIOR GYM UNTUK DIFABEL DENGAN PENDEKATAN INCLUSIVITY DESAIN DI KOTA DENPASAR, BALI
Abstract
The growth of interest in sports for the Balinese people is increasing, especially for athletes with weightlifting disabilities from Bali in training for competition preparations as well as people who have deficiencies, both hearing, hearing and physical in obtaining stamina fitness, so that gym sports facilities that have uniqueness, complete equipment facilities, and the main users are disabled. Where everyone who has shortcomings who want to exercise can access it. To get data that is relevant to the interior design of a gym that has good standards in Indonesia, the designer created a questionnaire for several speakers and looked for data through data and information centers. According to SUSENAS, in 2018 Indonesia had a total of 14.2% of people with disabilities, namely 30.38 million people from the total number of Indonesians. In Bali, the number of people with disabilities in 2019 was 2.37%, which was 580 thousand people. Based on the description of the above problems for the design process in the design of the gym facility building, it will pay attention to and consider various factors, ranging from aesthetics, choice of technique, environmental issues, standards for people with disabilities. Then the theme and concept will be used that is able to solve the problems that have been raised, namely " Modern Open Space Inclusivity " where the Modern Open Space design style is a design style that is simple, clean, healthy, uses a lot of openings, functional, stylish and always follows the development of the times related to the modern lifestyle. As for the concept itself, Inclusive itself is the meaning of equality, in this case the most emphasized is to focus on users with disabilities
