This study aims to implement the Nonlinear Animation technique in the 3D animate film Gemuruh Jiwa to dramatize the Gobuk ritual, a Melayu tradition that has become increasingly forgotten. Originally used as a healing ceremony, the Gobuk ritual is no primarily recognized as a form of dance and music performance. Using an experimental method, the study involves problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The Nonlinear Animation techniques enables the creation of dynamic and complex animations, emphasizing key ohases such as possession, communication with ancestral spirits, and welcoming dances. The findings demonstrate that this technique effectively enhances the dramtic elements of ritual scenes while serving as an innovative medium to preserve local culture through modern animation
