The "skena" culture is a significant social phenomenon in shaping the social identity of individuals and groups within creative communities. Through expressions in music, art, fashion, and lifestyle, this culture creates alternative spaces for the development of collective identities that often challenge mainstream cultural norms. As a subculture, skena culture initially served as resistance against dominant cultural hegemony. However, elements of this subculture are often co-opted by mainstream markets and media, diminishing its resistance significance while still influencing the development of popular cultural trends. Additionally, skena culture contributes to social and cultural innovation, fostering more inclusive and diverse changes. In the context of Hall's theory, skena culture acts as a catalyst for creative and free new trends while serving as an agent of new social meaning creation. Thus, skena culture not only represents resistance but also plays a pivotal role in profound social change and cultural innovation.
