PENGEMBANGAN INOVASI PEMANFAATAN KULIT KAKAO PADA PRODUK FASHION BAGI KELOMPOK WANITA TANI KUSUMA SARI DI DESA MELAYA JEMBRANA

The city of Jembrana in Bali is known for its natural beauty and cultural richness, as well as being one of the producers of high-quality cocoa. Cocoa not only serves as a source of income for local farmers but also supports the tourism and culinary industries. Although cocoa husks are often considered waste, there is great potential to transform them into natural dyes for textiles, providing an eco-friendly alternative for the fashion industry. The selection of the Kusuma Sari Women's Farmers Group in Melaya Village is based on the creative and meticulous abilities of its female members, as well as their involvement in fashion production. This initiative aims to empower women through skill enhancement in cocoa pod processing, creating attractive and sustainable fashion products, and increasing family income. With training and mentoring, it is hoped that they can effectively utilize local resources, reduce waste, and contribute to environmental sustainability. This innovation not only strengthens the local economy but also raises public awareness of the importance of sustainable resource utilization, thereby creating a broad positive impact for the Melaya Village community
