Kebaya is one of the national clothes that cannot be separated from Balinese women. Since the promulgation of the Governor's regulation requiring traditional clothing every Thursday, full moon and tilem, kebaya which was originally made on a custom made basis has developed into ready-to-wear clothing which has also become one of the contributors to fashion waste. Upcycling is an alternative for processing kebaya patchwork into a new item in order to increase the value of the kebaya patchwork. The upcycle concept for processing quilts uses surface design techniques which are often known as textile manipulation to create new textiles that are decorative
