PERANCANGAN BUSANA MUSLIMAH BATIK OLING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS PENGRAJIN BATIK BANYUWANGI

Batik is one of Indonesia's most famous cultural heritages in the world. Batik is one of the identities of the Indonesian nation, and is an important part of the lives of Indonesian people, both in formal and informal events. Basically, batik can be an inspiration for the younger generation to appreciate and love their own culture. Currently, young people prefer European or Korean fashion. According to most of them, batik is a formal event fashion. Currently, the image that batik is clothing for old people must be removed. However, we must preserve batik, because batik is a characteristic of the Indonesian nation. This is a challenge for designers to make batik designs into trendy and comfortable fashion for young people. Batik Oling is one of the unique batik motifs originating from Banyuwangi, East Java. With its unique motif, Batik Oling can be used as "Muslimah Clothing" fashion. Currently, Muslim fashion has developed rapidly in the fashion world, so with a touch of contemporary design, it is hoped that Batik Oling will become increasingly popular so that it will encourage the local economy to become more advanced.
